Connect outputs for the step selector
Inform the central apartment unit that you want to use the potential-free relay
contacts Q1..Q3 of a multi-controller for connecting the step selector for con-
trol of the fan:
Main menu > Commissioning > RF connections > Ventilation
> Outputs > Step selector > Connect device:
Step selectors can only be connected via the universal relay outputs
Q1..Q3 of a multi-controller.
Confirm subentry “Connect device“ by pressing the Menu/ok button. To make
the connection, you are then prompted to press the binding button on the
multi-controller.
Use the channel selection button (CH) on the multi-controller to select the
required channel group:
Q1..Q3 for a 3-stage step selector with 3 step relays
Q1 and Q2 for a 2-stage or 3-stage step selector with 2 step relays
Q1 for a 1-stage step selector with one step relay
Make certain that you select the same number of step relays you de-
fined in the extra configuration of the step selector when coding the
stages.
The LEDs of the selected channel group start blinking. If the selected channel
group is not yet connected, the binding LEDs start flashing.
Now, press the binding button on the multi-controller. The LED lights up
green. When it starts blinking, you can release the binding button.
A successful connection appears on the display of the central apartment unit
and confirmed with a beep. Close the binding process by pressing the
Menu/ok button.
Connect outputs for the HR bypass
Inform the central apartment unit that you want to use the potential-free relay
contacts Q4 and Q5 of a multi-controller for connecting the HR bypass:
Main menu > Commissioning > RF connections > Ventilation
> Outputs > HR bypass > Connect device:
The HR bypass can only be connected via the universal relay outputs
Q4/Q5 of a multi-controller.
Confirm subentry “Connect device“ by pressing the Menu/ok button. To make
the connection, you are then prompted to press the binding button on the
multi-controller.
Use the channel selection button (CH) on the multi-controller to select channel
group Q4/Q5.
The LEDs of the channel group start blinking. If the selected channels are not
yet connected, the binding LEDs start flashing.
