Screen timeout
Select the number of minutes the touch panel must be inactive before the screensaver displays.
Options: 5, 10, 15, 30, 45 and 60 minutes or 10 hours.
The 10-hour option is for environments where the screen should be displayed for an extended period
of time. Also setting Automatic logout to No maintains continuous access to the touch panel without
having to repeatedly login.
Keyboard
Select a keyboard language from the dropdown list.
Locale
Select a touch panel browser language from the dropdown list. Your selection will not change the
language used in Desigo Control Point.

6.4.1 Home URL
This procedure defines the home page for your building automation Web interface.
CAUTION
Minimize links to external URLs. Linking to external URLs, such as
Favorites, Web cams and external Web services poses a security risk.
● URLs shall only direct to secure services, such as Web servers hosted by
devices in the building automation control network. Using touch panels for
applications other than building automation, for example, to display a news
Web site, exposes your system to the risk of downloading and executing
malicious scripts.
● The system integrator is responsible for making a risk-benefit decision about
providing external URLs and for informing the customer of potential risks.
1. Select Configuration > Touch panel.
2. Select Home URL, enter the URL for the home page of your building automation Web interface and click

Do the following to verify your settings:
– Select > Log out to log out of SSA.
– Swipe down to display the URL bar.
– Tap .
 The home page of your building automation Web interface displays.

6.4.2 Favorite URLs
A maximum of ten Favorite URLs can be defined for users to access through the touch panel. Users swipe
down to display the URL bar on the touch panel and click to display the pages you have defined.
