NOTE:
Communication with the American Auto-
Matrix PUP devices can be unstable if
there are multiple American Auto-Matrix
PUP devices powered from the same
power supply
and
if the wires are not
connected to the power terminals using
the same polarity.
Even though the American Auto-Matrix
PUP devices use AC power, the same
power wire must be connected to the AC
Common terminal on all American Auto-
Matrix PUP devices. If the AC power
wires are crossed, the American Auto-
Matrix PUP device will run, but may be
unable to communicate with the driver.
Connecting the American Auto-
Matrix PUP Driver to the
American Auto-Matrix Device
Follow these steps to connect the American Auto-
Matrix PUP Driver to the American Auto-Matrix
devices:
1. Make cables per the diagram in Figure 1.
2. Connect cables per the diagram in Figure 1.
