Product Description
This package contains a dual auxiliary switch with 3-
foot long cabling, and a black NEC Class I compliant
compartment cover for use on the SQX8... three-
position valve actuator.

Required Tools
 1/8” and 1/4” flat blade screwdrivers
 Hammer
Expected Installation Time
45 minutes
Prerequisites
Warning:
Disconnect power supply to the
actuator before beginning to install the
switch
Installation
1. Use a 1/4” flat blade screwdriver to remove the
actuator cover. Discard the cover.
2. Remove the upper conduit opening knock-out.
Refer to Figure 1.

3. Attach a threaded connector onto 2 feet (60 cm) or
less of flexible metal conduit.
4. Remove the switch from its packaging.
5. Slip the conduit connector nut over the wires.

6. Slip the wires through the actuator housing conduit
knock-out keeping the conduit connector nut
inside the actuator.
7. Feed the wires through the flexible metal conduit.

8. Attach the threaded connector to the actuator
housing with the connector nut. Refer to Figure 4.
