5 Programming and commissioning
The C400 controllers are based on the Climatix tools platform for programming and
commissioning.
5.1 Programming tool: SAPRO
SAPRO is a programming tool for creating and maintaining Climatix controller
applications. C400 controllers require Climatix VVS11 or higher.
Some specifics related to the C400 controllers are described in this chapter. Refer
to SAPRO help and programming guide for details.
5.1.1 C400 add-on
The POL46x add-on (file name: SBT_SAPRO_ENG_V5x_POL46x_V11.xx) to
SAPRO must be installed for application programming.
Note: the add-on is released with the VVS release package.
5.1.2 Application workflow
Create an application with the original resource template and define the IO and
main logic as follow.
Or start with the basic template or migration from a legacy controller (POL400 /
600).
Basic template
The SAPRO basic template CAS_BscTpl (check the CLS package within the VVS)
provides a simple method for working with the C400 controllers.
Starting with this template, the application programmers can build up their own
implementation. The basic template provides:
● Project structure of Sapro, including Scope project based on C400 add-on
● Working example of a simple air-handing application
● Generic IO interface implementation
● Modbus implementation / mapping
● Example of application save mechanism
