I-PWM
Pulse modulation input. The
modulation can be measured between
0 and 200. A value of 200 equals
100% switch-on time and a value of 0
is equal to 0% switch-on time.
The measurable frequency is 20 ...
500 Hz. Below 20 Hz, the input is
handled as a normal digital input.
Frequencies above 500 Hz cannot be
detected so that reliability cannot be
updated.

Use
The digital input DL1 for binary signal AC 115…230 V is galvanically isolated. It is
especially useful for:
● Handling high pressure switches via a hardware safe mode – in addition to the
normal software mode (Refer to Application example: Compressor safety)
● Release or lock signals from utilities
Connection example
The following illustration shows the position and identification of the digital input
DL1 of Climatix devices as well as a connection example.

Application example: Compressor safety
In an emergency, digital input AC 115…230 V shuts down the compressor via
hardware including:
● High-pressure contact opens, and
● Voltage monitoring triggers an alarm
The controller
detects such events quickly via the digital inputs DL1 (delay
100 ms).
