8.5 Billing file
8.5.1 Introduction
As described in subsection 2.2.3 "Function", the OZW10 stores the data of all M-bus
devices read out last. They can be read out at the M-bus central unit. To handle them
on a PC, they can be transferred as follows:
 The data are made available at the RS-232 port as a billing file. There, they can be
read out with the help of the ACS7… PC software, either directly or via modem
 The data are transferred to a memory card in the form of a billing file. To insert the
memory card, the M-bus central unit has a slot. The memory card is forwarded to
the billing agency, which loads the data with the help of a second OZW10 and the
ACS7… PC software directly to the PC via the RS-232.
The following subsections describe the contents of the billing file.
