Deactivate User Password
If a password has been set beforehand, you can disable
the password prompt at the phone.

You can also configure this setting via the Web interface

N Press this key repeatedly until the "Settings" menu be-
comes active.
Select and confirm the option shown.
if nec. j Enter and confirm the user password.

h Press this key to delete the previous password.
j Enter 6 zeros ("000000") to deactivate the password (for
text entry, see Æ page 22).
Select and confirm the option shown.
j Enter 6 zeros ("000000") once more and confirm.
Select the option shown and confirm twice.
The deactivation of the password request is not
valid for the web interface Æ page 136, not for
the OpenStage Manager, and also not for CTI ap-
plications requiring a password request. Here,
you must enter "000000" as password.
If you deactivate the user password, you cannot
lock the phone Æ page 100 any more, and the
user menu is not password protected.
