Product Description
This kit contains the parts needed to attach a NEMA
4X Junction Box to a GMA Damper Actuator.

Required Tools
• Small Phillips Screwdriver
• Small Flat-blade Screwdriver
• 7/8” Drill Bit and Electric Drill
• 1” Wrench
Expected Installation Time
30 minutes
Prerequisites
Ensure that all wiring complies with National Electric
Code (NEC) and local regulations.
Installation
1. Using an electric drill with 7/8-inch drill bit, drill
two holes in the enclosure at appropriate
locations to accept the supply auxiliary cables.
2. Assemble chosen conduit fittings.
3. Feed actuator cables through the pre-drilled
conduit openings in the enclosure.
4. Attach the two O-rings to the two chaser nipples
(supplied).
5. Slide the chaser nipples over the cables.

6. Screw into the female openings of the actuator
and tighten with a 1-inch wrench until the O-ring
contacts the enclosure wall, then tighten an
additional 1/2 to 3/4-turn.
7. Cut cables to the appropriate length.
8. Replace cover and use a screwdriver to tighten
the four retaining screws.
