change the way your
phone behaves instantly
A profile is a collection of settings that
allows you to change the way your phone
behaves by simply changing one setting.
Your phone comes with six preset profiles
which you can change, as well as space
for you to create two of your own.
To change your profile:
1 Press Menu and scroll to Profiles.
2 Press Select. Scroll through the
available profiles. They are:

Normal envi.
■
Quiet environ.
■
Noisy environ.
■
Car kit
■
Headset
■
<Empty>
■
<Empty>
■
Aircraft mode
You cannot change this profile.
3 To activate a profile, press Activate.
Note: The Car kit and headset options will
only appear when they are connected.
You can change the details of all profiles
except for Aircraft mode. To do this:
1 Scroll to the profile and press
Options.
2 Scroll to Change sett. and
press Select.
3 Choose from the following options:

Ringer setting
Choose to switch the ring tone On,
Off or Beep only.
■
Volume
Adjust the volume of your ring tone.
■
Dynamic light
Activate or deactivate the dynamic
light.
■
Silent alert
Activate silent alert.
■
Call screening
You are only alerted to calls saved in
the Addressbook/Phonebook or a
specific group.

voice commands
You can set up to 20 voice commands
which will allow you to control your phone
functions simply by saying a name.
To save a voice command:
1 Press Menu and scroll to Extras.
Press Select.
2 Scroll to Voice comm. and press
Select.
3 Scroll to the function that you would like
to set a voice command for, for example
New SMS.
4 Press Record and then press Yes.
5 Press Start and speak clearly into the
phone after the beep. Repeat the name
after the second beep.
To use a voice command, press and hold
at the main display, and then say the
command.

You can set your left soft key to access
your most used feature.
1 Briefly press the left soft key .
Press Change. This opens up the list
of functions to assign.
2 Choose from the list of functions.
You can set keys 2-9 to act as hotkeys
which take you straight to a phone number
or function. To set your hotkeys:
1 Press the number you want to set, then
press the right soft key .
2 Press Set, then scroll through
the list and press Select to set the
function.
3 To access your chosen function in future,
press and hold down the corresponding
key.
