Comprehensive
diagnostic functions
In addition to the familiar diagnostic functions such as operating hour
and switching cycle counting, the new switching actuators also feature
load current detection and monitoring. All automation functions can
be activated via the ETS without additional modules or controllers, i.e.,
in the same device.
New
Control functions:
For the control and switching of
lighting and motors, both on/off
switch commands and time,
scene, and logic functions are
available.
Loads such as lighting can be
switched via display and control
devices or through the evaluation
of sensor data.
Override functions:
Lighting and motors can be
overridden on a user-defined
basis, through evaluation of
sensor data,
manually, or via a centralized
function.
All diagnostic functions can be
displayed via operating and
display devices.

Diagnostic functions:
The diagnostic and analysis functions
of the new switching actuators are
for the monitoring of load currents
within two threshold values.
With these functions, changes to
the load behavior, overload, circuit
breaks, and contact faults are
identified. Additionally, operating
hours and switch cycles can be
captured.
