Lighting control unit
with 1 to 10 volts
The new switching/dimming actuators
N 536D31 and N 536D51 are expand-
ing the DIN rail-mounted device family
to the application of lighting control
via a 1–10 V control interface. The DC
1...10-volt control outputs can be used
to control dimmable electronic ballasts
and LED drivers. The switch contacts
enable direct on/off switching of four
to eight light groups.
Optimal lighting control
With their extensive control functions,
the actuators enable the switching and
dimming of lighting as well as the setting
of brightness values using different
fade times. The configuration option
of predefined and user-defined
dimming curves enables optimal
dimming behavior. Individual thresh-
old values can be configured for the
dimming range. Switch-on/off delays
can be used to enable functions such
as stepless switching of the lighting.
Integrated scene control makes it
possible to call up customized lighting
moods. Seven override functions with
configurable priority levels are
available to override the lighting.
Intuitive front control field
Direct control on the front control field
makes it possible to test the installa-
tion using status LEDs and buttons.
The lighting can be switched and dimmed
individually for each channel with the
press of a button. The switching states
are signaled for each channel individually.
Diagnostic functions:
Switch cycle and operating hour
counting with threshold monitoring
supports optimal maintenance of the
lamps. Numerous status messages
provide reliable information about
the state of the lighting system.
