Fume Hood Flow Module
Product Description
If the Laboratory Room Controller (LRC) is
monitoring one fume hood, input information such as
airflow from one fume hood is provided by a Fume
Hood Controller. If the LRC is monitoring two to four
hoods, input is from a Fume Hood Flow Module
(FFM). A FFM connects up to four 0 - 10 Vdc signals
and generates a scaled voltage that represents the
sum of the fume hood flows (Figure 1).

If electronic actuation is used, the FHC
and LRC must be powered by a separate
power trunk from the FFM and any 0 – 10
Vdc actuator used by the LRC. The Lab
Controls Electronic Actuator Assemblies
ban be on the same power trunk as the
FHC, LRC or on a separate transformer.
The installation is now complete.
