Installation with an Existing Cutout
a. Position the mounting bracket over the
existing cutout on the fume hood. Align the
holes on the mounting bracket with the screw
holes of the cutout (Figure 2).

NOTE:
Make sure that there is enough clearance
for the controller interface port on the ODP
(Figure 3).

b. Go to Step 3.
Installation without an Existing Cutout
a. Using the mounting plate as a template, mark
the location for the two-center mounting holes
(Figure 4).

b. Using a straightedge, draw a line connecting
the two mounting holes.
c. Measure 2 inches (51mm) down on the line
from the top mounting holes and mark the
location for the clearance hole for the
controller interface port (Figure 4).
d. Drill the two mounting holes using a 3/16-inch
(5mm) bit.
e. Cut the controller interface port clearance hole
using a 1-1/2 inch (38mm) hole saw.
f. Go to Step 3.
3. Attach the mounting plate to the mounting
surface using the screws provided. Refer to
Figure 2 or 4.
4. Pull the 8-conductor phone cable through the
plate and connect it to the ODP at the controller
interface port (Figure 3).
