Tenant Override System Option for
Insight
Description
With the Tenant Override System (TOS) Custom
Solution Option for Insight®, a tenant uses a touch-tone
telephone, the Internet or a local intranet to turn on their
work areas’ lights and HVAC system after normal
business hours. From any Web-enabled computer,
tenants can schedule overrides for the same day or for
the future. Building managers, in turn, can use TOS to
monitor tenants after-hour usage, and bill accordingly.
The TOS system is easy to integrate with Insight
software.
Features:
• Ability to bill tenants for usage outside of normal
building or tenant occupancy schedules.
• Each defined tenant zone has its own hourly billing
rate.
• Allows two zones to operate simultaneously without
duplicate billing. For instance, air conditioning and
ventilation systems may function concurrently
without billing the tenant twice.
• Define equipment in multiple zones, allowing
multiple tenants access to the same mechanical
equipment.
• Detailed billing data is available monthly using the
Billing Summary Report.
• Accommodates up to 9,999 tenants or departments.
• Each tenant can have up to 999 unique employee
ID numbers and zones.
• Support for ON and OFF commands on a per zone
override.
• ON requests last for up to twenty-three hours.
• Lights flicker off and on at a pre-set time prior to
termination of an after-hour request.
• •For touch-tone phone interface, handles 1 to 16
incoming calls (based on hardware board
configurations).
WebTOS features include:
• Same day overrides or schedule future ones.
• Three access levels with varying capabilities:
Building Operator/Manager: Responsible for
installing and maintaining the TOS database,
including defining tenant administrators,
schedules, zones and billing rates.
Tenant Administrator: A department or person
who works for the tenant and is responsible for
maintaining their employee profiles.
Everyday User (or Tenant Employee):
Department or tenant employee(s) who has
access to TOS via the phone and/or the Web.
Employee profiles are created and maintained
by either the Tenant Administrator or Building
Manager.
• Ability to associate a floor plan image with a zone,
making identification of a user’s respective work
area uncomplicated.
• View Occupancy schedules.
• Supports Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
• Automatic log off.
