PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The BACnet Option needs to be installed on Insight.

This installation allows the user to communicate with

BACnet networks and monitor and command points

from either an Insight workstation or a third-party

BACnet workstation.

REQUIRED TOOLS AND MATERIALS

• Cabling and connectors (Figure 1)

PREREQUISITES

• Determine which computer will have the

Insight BACnet Option installed.

• Locate the Phoenix BACnet Accel-Way

ethernet port.

INSTRUCTIONS

Preparing to Install the Open Processor

1. Run the Ethernet cabling as described in Figure

2. Connect the cable to the Ethernet port of the

workstation that has the BACnet option installed.
