and unit number. The defaults are shown in

to accept both defaults. The
Osprey Co-Processor will now boot RSX from
the MU: device (SyQuest drive).
13. The minicomputer begins to boot. When it is
finished, the system displays the following
prompt:

/CSR=nnnnnn to change the default
device CSR
/VEC=nnn to change the default
device vector
/FOR=n to change the default magtape
formatter number
/DEV to list all default device CSR
and vectors
Enter first device:
14. Enter the CSR and vector addresses for the first
device by typing
MU:/CSR=174500/VEC=260
and press
<RETURN>

The system prompts you for the second device:

15. Enter the CSR and vector addresses for the
second device by typing:
DU:/CSR=172150/VEC=154
and press
<RETURN>

The following time prompt displays:
Hit RETURN and enter date and time as
’TIM HH:MM MM/DD/YY’
Do not respond to the time prompt
until you are
instructed to do so (in Step 15). Continue this
procedure with Step 13 now.
16. Remove the loading tape by pressing the green
button on the SyQuest drive.
17. You are now ready to load the Revision K.0
system from the SyQuest drive to the hard disk.
Insert the Revision K.0 Master tape in the drive.
18. Respond to the time prompt (displayed in Step
12) by entering the time and date. Use the
following format:
TIM HH:MM MM/DD/YY <RETURN>
where:
HH = hours 00 through 23 (24 hour clock)
MM = minutes 00 through 59
DD = day 01 through 31
MM = month 01 through 12
YY = year 98, 99, 00, etc.
Be sure to enter the colons (:) between the
hours and minutes, a space between the time
and date, and slashes (/) between the day,
month, and year.
19. At the MCR prompt, type
RUN BRU
and press
<RETURN>

The BRU prompt (BRU>) displays.
20. At the BRU prompt, type
/INI/VER/REW MU0: DU0:
and press
