HOTEL SOLUTION™

OPC Server for HOTEL

SOLUTION room controllers

HSO3.1

The OPC server provides access to selected data points from the HRC3.1 and

HRC3.2 room controllers from the HOTEL SOLUTION™ range.

Application

The HOTEL SOLUTION OPC server HSO3.1 provides read access and, subject to

certain conditions, write access, from an OPC client to selected data points in the

HOTEL SOLUTION room controllers.

Function

The OPC server supports the following OPC services:

• DATA Access READ up to Version 3 (read access)

• DATA Access WRITE up to Version 3 (write access)

The DATA Access WRITE function is supported only in topologies without HOTEL

SOLUTION management functions.

An essential requirement for operation of the OPC server is a standard PC with a

Ethernet/IP port.

An IP/KNX coupler is connected to the PC via an Ethernet/IP port. The Konnex output

of this interface is connected to the HOTEL SOLUTION building bus.

The HOTEL SOLUTION OPC server must be installed on the same PC as the OPC client. If DESIGO INSIGHT is installed, the associated Citect OPC client can be utilized. In all other cases, a standard OPC client can be used.
