The system will then run in accordance with the parameters specified in the license file
(e.g.: 100 RCUs and 16 database connections).

To activate the license, the user interface software must be started at least once.
Without a dongle (or valid license), the Siemens Hotel Solution system can run in demo
mode. In this mode, the user has access to 12 RCUs and 8 database connections.
4.3.3 Install LANTRONIX software
A virtual COM port required to connect a chip encoder over IP. Two programs are
installed: The LANTRONIX Device Installer and the LANTRONIX COM Port Redirector.
4.3.3.1 Install LANTRONIX DeviceInstaller
The LANTRONIX DeviceInstaller required to parameterize the LANTRONIX-XPort
module for the chip encoder.
