5.3 Syntax of the ini files
The most important entries in SP_inst.ini and locations.ini are explained below. For
more explanations, refer to the two ini files (in the SimplyPhone installation directory).
5.3.1 SP_Inst.ini of the client component
Section Entry Description
[GENERAL] _KeysCopied=4100 During installation all registry entries are
written to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
branch. SimplyPhone for Outlook copies
user-specific entries from there to the
HKEY_CURRENT_USER branch at startup if
the _KeysCopied under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE is greater than the
value under HKEY_CURRENT_USER. Thus
by raising the value in SP_Inst.ini modi-
fied values can come into effect for all users
following a new installation. Default: 4100
[GENERAL] Location Name of a section in the file Loca-
tions.ini. Suppresses the dialog for se-
lecting a location during installation.
[GENERAL] InstallFolder Default value for the folder in which the ap-
plication is installed.
[GENERAL] Startup List of processes that activate when Outlook
starts up. Separated by a semicolon. De-
fault: cTalkp.exe; CRIsvr.exe;
SPOMEvnt.exe

uct using an interface language other than
that of the operating system. If this value is
left blank, the language of the operating sys-
tem is applied.
[GENERAL] CRIServerVersion=
{2|3}
Version of the open LDAP server:
2: Client version
3: Partner identification service version
Default: 2

come={0|1}
