Time functions
Setting the date and time
The first time you make a call on your phone, the date and time are transmitted by the
exchange.
You can set the base station display to 12 hours or 24 hours (default setting) (am = 1st
half of the day; pm = 2nd half of the day).
Night service
For each receive MSN, you can set up a call diversion every day or for a particular period
of time (Start time to End time) and, if required, at the weekend (Sat/Sun all day) to
automatically divert all incoming calls to an external phone number, to a different inter-
nal subscriber or, on a Gigaset with integrated answering machine, to the answering
machine. For example, when a business is closed (from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.) all calls
from the office can be diverted to a private number.
When diverting a call externally, only the MSN which is assigned to the handset as the
receive MSN can be diverted from that handset.
By default, night service is deactivated. To activate the night service function, the des-
tination for the call diversion must first be specified.
