Setting up the answering machine

Activating/deactivating automatic pause
If automatic pause is activated the answering machine switches to pause mode after
playing back a message or memo. The next message is only played back when you press
the
>... display key.
By default, automatic pause is deactivated.
Requirement: You have selected an answering machine (page 90).
Locking the answering machine, defining AM PIN
You can protect your answering machine against unauthorised access. To do this, define
an AM PIN (Personal Identification Number) and activate the AM lock. The PIN must then
be entered before any settings can be made or messages played back.
Entering and changing the AM PIN
By default, the AM PIN is preconfigured to 0000.
Requirement: You have selected an answering machine (page 90).
If you made a typing error when entering the AM PIN, you can delete your entry using
the W key and enter it again.

By default, the answering machine lock is deactivated.
