SMS (text messages)

Replying to or forwarding text messages
While you are reading a text message you can use the following functions:
Calling back the text message sender
Open the incoming message list (page 46). Then:

Press the display key to open the menu.

Reply to an incoming message:

Confirm. You can reply to the SMS immediately in a
blank input field.

Edit an incoming SMS:
s Use Text
Confirm. You can transfer the SMS immediately to an
input field and edit it, as with writing a new SMS
(page 42).

Forward an incoming SMS:

Confirm. You can forward the SMS to a phone
number immediately (page 42).

Set the character set:
s / Character Set
Confirm then select a character set. For newly
entered text, the selected character set will be used
when you edit or reply to the SMS. Then the phone
will automatically revert to the default character set.
