Date/time
There are two methods of setting the date and time:
u By default, your phone is configured so that the date and time are transferred
from a time server on the Internet, provided it is connected to the Internet.
You can activate/deactivate the synchronisation with a time server via the
Web configurator (
¢ page 196).
u You can also set the date and time manually via the menu of one of the regis-
tered handsets (
¢ page 161).
To ensure you have the correct time for incoming calls and to use the alarm clock,
the date and time must be set.
Connecting the headset to the handset (optional)
You can connect a headset with 2.5 mm jack connectors.

Attaching the belt clip (optional)
The handset has notches on each side to attach the belt clip.
¤ To attach – press the belt clip
onto the back of the handset
so that the protrusions on the
belt clip engage with the
notches.
¤ To remove – press the centre
of the belt clip firmly with
your right thumb, push the
fingernail of your left index
finger up between the clip
and the housing and pull the
clip in an upward direction.
