Setting the handset
Your handset comes with default settings, but you can change the settings to suit
your individual requirements.
Accessing functions and numbers quickly
You can assign one number from the directory to each of the digit keys Q and
2to O.
The left and right display keys have a default function. You can change the assign-
ment (
¢ page 151).
The number is then dialled or the function started by simply pressing a key.
Assigning digit keys (quick dial)
Prerequisite: you have not yet assigned a number to the digit key.
¤ Press and hold the digit key
Or
Press the digit key briefly and press the display key
§Quick Dial§.
The directory is opened.
q Select an entry and press §OK§.
If the entry contains several numbers, the icons for the numbers stored are dis-
played: ä / k/ l.
r Select a number and press
§OK§.
The entry is saved to the corresponding digit key.
Dialling a number
Prerequisite: the digit key already has a number assigned to it.
When the handset is in idle status
¤ Press and hold the digit key to dial the number.
Or
¤ Briefly press the digit key.
Press the left-hand display key with the number/name (abbreviated if neces-
sary) to dial the number.
Please note
If you delete or edit the entry in the directory at a later date, this will not affect
the assignment to the number key.
