Using a handset as a room monitor (Babyphone)

Activating the room monitor and entering the destination
number

¤ You can enter data in the following fields:
Activation:
Select On to activate.
Alarm to:
Select Internal or External.
External number: select the number from the directory (press display key
ö) or
enter it directly.
Internal number: press the display key
§Change§ ¢ select the handset or Call All
to call all registered handsets
¢ §OK§.
In idle status, the destination number or the internal destination number is dis-
played.
Two Way Talk:
Switch the handset's speaker on or off (select On or Off).
Sensitivity:
Select the sensitivity of the sound level (select Low or High).
¤ Press §Save§ to save the settings.
When the room monitor function is activated, the idle display looks like this:

Please note
A room monitor call to an external number is generally called via the send con-
nection of the handset.
If the selection of the send connection for each call is assigned to the handset, the
first activated IP connection in the configuration is automatically used. If there is
no IP connection configured or activated, the fixed line connection is used..
