Replacement of the fans for the frame sizes FSA ... FSC
Replacement of the external fan FSA … FSC
Tools are not required to replace a fan.
Preparation
1. Switch off the inverter.
2. Wait at least 5 minutes until the Power Module has fully discharged.
Procedure
1. Remove the front cover of the inverter.
2. Remove the operator panel from the Power Module.
3. Disconnect all the cables from the Power Module.
4. Place the Power Module down on a clean and secure surface with the front side facing
downwards.
5. Using your fingers, grip inside the two recesses of the fan enclosure (
① in the illustration
below).
6. Press your fingers together to release the holding clips of the fan module.
7. Pull out the fan module (for direction of removal, see
② in the illustration below).
8. Install the new fan in reverse sequence.
Now you have changed the fan.
