ASZ6.6 Stem Heating Element

Product Description
The ASZ6.6 Stem Heating Element prevents the
formation of ice on the stem when medium
temperatures drop below 32ºF (0ºC). It is suited for
universal use with Flowrite® valves having a stem or
spindle diameter of 10 or 14 mm.

Expected Installation Time

Prerequisites
When attaching the stem heating element, the actuator
and valve must be assembled. The stem heating
element is powered separately.

Installation Notes
• For media below 32ºF (0ºC), the stem heating
element keeps the valve from freezing.
• When using the ASZ6.6 heating element, do not
insulate the actuator bracket and valve stem, as
air circulation must be maintained.
• When mounting the stem heating element, the
actuator and valve must be assembled. The stem
heating element is powered separately.
WARNING:
• The stem heating element heats up to
248ºF (120ºC).
• To avoid burns, do not touch hot parts
without protective gear.
• Not following the above may result in
accidents and fires.
