2.8.6.2 Configuring the Terminal Program for Message Displays
Our example uses the Teraterm terminal program, which can be downloaded as freeware from the Internet. Start
the terminal and configure the following parameters with SETUP Serial Port
:
¾ Port : COM interface to be used
¾ Baud rate: 115200
¾ Data: 8 bit
¾ Parity: None
¾ Stop bits: 1 bit
¾ Flow control: None
Once the parameters have been assigned, save the settings with SETUP Æ Save Setup.
After the terminal is started, the settings must be loaded with SETUP Æ Restore Setup.
