Even in the planning phase of a plant, it is important to know the reaction time of IO
communication and the delay time for data communication in a PROFIBUS,
PROFINET IO or Industrial Ethernet network. To provide you with reliable information
on typical plants with different topologies, a large number of different configurations
have been set up and measured. Based on these measured values, you can do the
following:
