Radiator Electric, 1-Stage (RadEl12)
Application template: 14369
This application function operates an electric radiator(s) and supports downdraft
compensation. The main output is a binary output that may be on or off for single
stage operation.
Main features:
● Binary control of electric radiator, single stage operation
● Multiple radiator control (1...n)
● Downdraft compensation
● Heating available status
● Over-temperature detection with high temperature cut-out switch
Function
Radiator heating request (RadHReq) is received and processed into binary output
signal for radiator electric position (RadElPos).
Binary control of electric radiator, single stage operation: In response to heating
demand, the radiator electric position (RadElPos) is switched on/off to control the
room temperature at setpoint. It also can be commanded in response to external
trigger(s) for special modes such as warm-up or cool down, or safety conditions.
