Function description
Basic functions
● PID control for fume hood exhaust air VAV
● Fume hood VAV exhaust flow rate dynamically set
as per face velocity, fixed flow rates selected off-
line or as per occupancy, flow rates selected
automatically as per sensors connected to sashes,
flow rates selected manually.
● Supports different types of VAV damper actuators.
● Supports dedicated sensors for detecting face
velocity, sash position, fume hood extract air
volume flow.
● Supports one fan for the stabilizing jet, including
monitoring.
● Regular automatic pressure sensor calibration
(DXA.S04P…)
● Supports dedicated KNX PL-Link operator display
panel (ODP).
● Pushbuttons, switches for integrated lighting
● Different air flow operating modes including
emergency functions (e.g. purge)
● The application function communicates with room
control using the room/segment model.
Options
● Extract air VAV sensor 0...10 V
● Optional system alarms displayed on the
management station notify building operators of
possible faults
● Optional trends can be enabled
● Fume hood sash switch for fume hood setpoint (2-
position volume air flow control )
● Optional stabilizing jet output on triac for an
external relay via configurable control functions
Auxiliary functions
● Green Leaf function (energy saving indication)
● Multisegment use of DXR2 automation stations
with pressurized room application
● Control via central commands (e.g. scheduler
program for fume hood)
● Central override functions for VAV dampers
● Configurable, generic universal control functions
for free I/Os
Variants
● KNX PL-Link sensor or binary sensor detects
presence
