Security Challenges
As video monitored ticket access is widely
used at large events, it is vital that such a
system can manage certain challenges.
These can include:
– Capturing photos of ticket holders and
combining these with personal informa-
tion from the access control system in
order to provide factual information for
investigative reasons and post-event
evaluation.
– The ability to integrate various data-
bases to ensure anybody on a black-
list will be identified and stopped from
attending the event.
– Supporting facial recognition software
to perform searches for possible sus-
pects of riots and incidents.
