1 About this document
1.1 Scope
This manual provides an overview of the web interface for managing your building control. It contains the following
sections:
● Overview provides a high-level overview of the user interface, main menu and status bar, settings, events and
manual overrides.
● Object view provides an overview of the work area, an outline of icons, state indicators, and procedures for
commanding properties.
● Configuration provides an overview of submenus, navigating, viewing, and engineering different areas of your
device.
● The following section provide a detailed overview of the user interface and procedures for using the web
interface:
– Scheduler allows you to view and modify the weekly schedule and exceptions that override the schedule.
1.2 Target reader
This document is intended for the web interface users performing maintenance and service tasks such as:
● Data point operation
● Device configuration
● Operating Scheduler
1.3 Terms
Term
Definition
Automation station
Primarily controls equipment, plants, and rooms. An automation station samples and
processes field data, initiates control actions, communicates with its operators, and
generates reports, displays, and warnings.
BACnet/IP device
BACnet-certified device used for building automation.
BACnet/IP system
Includes 1…n BACnet devices.
Desigo automation station
Desigo devices to control HVAC, lighting and shading applications. For example, DXR2...
or PXC3...
Desigo primary server
Provides common network functionality to the Desigo automation stations, such as Time
Master.
