Settings for a user profile that never automatically logs out
The following table outlines the settings for a user profile that never automatically logs out. If the site uses a
PXM... touch panel to display kiosk graphics, you may want to allow certain users to stay logged in.
CAUTION
System access for kiosk user profiles should be restricted to kiosk functions.
This procedure sets up a user profile that never automatically logs out. To prevent
unauthorized access to other system functions, select a User role with restricted
access. Never select the Administrators role for a kiosk user profile.

User profile settings
In ABT Site Settings > User profiles > Roles, set Automatic logout
to No.

Device settings
Do one of the following:
If you are working in ABT-SSA on a browser other than a
Siemens touch panel browser:
Click in the status bar, select Settings of view, select the
Keep room user logged in check box and click Save.
If you are working in ABT-SSA on a Siemens touch panel
browser:
In Settings > Favorite commissioning > Touch panel
settings, select and set Keep user logged in to Yes.
