The User management menu allows all users to manage their user profile and log out.
The following table outlines the options that are available through the User management menu:
Setting
Description
User role access
User profile
Allows the currently logged in user to change the
following settings for their own account:
● User interface language
● Date format
● Time format
● Change password
Displays in ABT-SSA and the
Operation application for all user
roles.
Manage users
Allows the currently logged in Administrator to
add, edit and delete user profiles.
Displays for the default
Administrator role and for user
roles that have the User profile
access field in ABT Site set to
Create, update and delete user.
(Settings > User profiles >
Roles)
Settings of view
Manages the following options:
● Show unused objects
Select this check box to display unused
objects during the current session. The
present value for unused objects displays as
Not used: by operation.
● Keep room user logged in
The effect of this check box depends on the
role of the currently logged-in user. The
setting of this check box persists until the
cache is cleared.
To configure continuous login on Siemens
touch panels (PXMs), you must use the
Keep user logged in property of Network
port for browser connection.
For more information, see the Managing
automatic logout [➙ 45] section.
Displays in ABT-SSA for all user
roles.
Logout
Logs a user out from the ABT-SSA and
Operation applications.
Displays in ABT-SSA and the
Operation application for all user
roles.
