● When connected to an automation station, the main entity is always the left-most item in the breadcrumb
navigation.

● When connected to an operating and monitoring device, the main entity may not always be the left-most
item in the breadcrumb navigation. If the breadcrumb list contains items after the main entity:
– The core function filtering does not apply for the items displayed in the work area.
– Selecting a core function filter resets the breadcrumb list and work area to the main entity.
