2.4 Textual Viewer
This section provides information and instructions for using the Textual Viewer.
2.4.1 Working with Textual Viewer
This section provides step-by-step instructions for some common Textual Viewer
tasks. For background information, see Textual Viewer Reference [➙ 57].
Perform the procedures in this section as needed.
2.4.1.1 Customizing Columns
System Manager is in Operating mode.
1. In Textual Viewer, right-click one of the following:
– Column heading
– Row
– Scroll bar within the Primary pane
2. Select Customize columns.
The Customize Columns dialog box displays.
3. Do one of the following:
– To remove columns from the Visible list, select one or more headings, and
then click the active arrow to move the headings.
– To add columns to the Visible list, select one or more headings from the
Available list, and then click the active arrow to move the headings.
4. Use the Move up and Move down buttons to arrange the order of the columns.
5. Click OK.
2.4.1.2 Making a New Primary Selection
System Manager is in Operating mode.
Textual Viewer displays more than one object, and you would like to make one
of those objects the new primary selection.
In Textual Viewer, double-click the object you want to make the new primary
selection.
Textual Viewer sends the object to System Browser, and System Browser
changes its focus to the object, just as if you had selected the object directly
from System Browser. System Browser then refreshes the Textual Viewer,
which displays the new primary selection.
2.4.1.3 Rearranging Columns
System Manager is in Operating mode.
Textual Viewer is open, and you would like to rearrange the order of the
columns.
1. Select the column you want to move.
2. Drag-and-drop the column onto the desired location.
