6. Click Next.
7. For relative binding, the GRAPHIC ON filter field is displayed. Make modifications,
if desired, and click Next.
A list of available equipment and data points displays.
8. Select the objects that should display on the graphic and click Next.
The system creates the graphic.
9. Click OK to clear the message.
The graphic opens in Graphics Builder for further editing. A virtual point has
been created for every data point selected in the wizard.
10. Drag-and-drop graphic components from the COMPONENTS pane.
11. Drag-and-drop data points from the EQUIPMENTS pane to create smart
labels.
12. When you are finished, click and Save to confirm the file name and location.
13. Close the tab to close Graphics Builder.
The new graphic is listed in the Graphics section of the Plant view work area.
Continue with creating a thumbnail image and assigning the graphic to the Desigo
Control Point device so that it can be viewed by room users.

2.4.2 Editing a graphic
The process to open a graphic for editing is context-sensitive.
● If you select Edit from the Plant view page, a list of graphics displays, and you
can select one or more graphics to open for editing.
● If you select Edit when a graphic is displayed, that graphic is opened for
editing.
Editing a graphic
1. Select > Tools > Configure graphics > Edit .
If a graphic was displayed, Graphics Builder opens that graphic in a new tab.
If a graphic was not displayed, the Configure Graphics – Edit dialog box
displays all graphics in the Operation application.
2. If necessary, select the graphic(s) to edit and click Edit.
Graphics Builder opens each selected graphic in a new tab.
3. Modify the selected graphic(s).
4. When you are finished, click SAVE to save your changes.
5. Click Save to confirm the file name and location.
6. Close the tab to close Graphics Builder.
