1 Introduction 1 Introduction Version 5.1 Quality Update 1 (QU1) is a package of several patches for known issues that might exist on sites where V5.1 of any of the products belonging to Desigo CC family is installed. Prior to the existence of the QU concept, the patches were released upon availability and were installed individually very often following manual copy of files.
2 Installing V5.1 Quality Update 1 Installing Quality Update 1 for Newly Added EM 2 Installing V5.1 Quality Update 1 You want to install the V5.1 Quality Update (QU1) over an existing V5.1 installation. Apply this Quality Update only to V5.1 systems. Remarks: ● During the installation of the QU on the target stations, the system is unmanned as the project is shutdown. ● If you have previously installed on your V5.1 installation, any patches released from HQ, this QU will overwrite them.

Right click the Gms.PatchInstaller.exe file and select the Run as Administrator option to perform the installation. 5. Open SMC, click the Projects node. 6. In the Management tab, navigate to the Information expander. In the Extension Information section verify that the Advanced Reporting EM is installed as shown in the image below. 7.

In the Software Information section, verify that the Platform version changes to 5.0.0242.107 after Quality Update 1 installation.
3 Released Software Components and Related Version 3 Released Software Components and Related Version The QU1 installation will change the version of the different components when a fix for an installed component needs to be applied. The new versions of those components after QU1 installation are mentioned in the table below.
