10. Accept the default path [C:\GMSProjects] and click Next (unless a different location is
preferred).
 The License Agreement dialog box displays.
11. Select a license from the Name field, read it, and then click Agree. Repeat this for each license.
12. Click Next.
 The Ready to Install the Program dialog box displays.
13. Click Install.
NOTE: If the system prompts you to restart during the installation: Restart, log back on with the
same account, re-run the installer file, and the installation continues.
NOTE: The install check utility will display. Browse to D:\InstallerDVD and click Install.
NOTE: If the install check utility does not display, run the file D:\InstallerDVD\InstallFiles\
Siemens.Gms.InstallerSetup in order to re-run the installer file.
NOTE: In all cases if the Account Control dialog displays, click Yes.
 The system installs the listed components and displays the Installation Complete dialog box.
14. Click Close.
6 Activate Licenses
Verify that the Entitlement ID to activate the Desigo CC Software is available prior to starting
this process. This Entitlement ID will contain all of the Activation IDs needed for the licenses you
have ordered.
To activate the licenses, you will need to communicate with the Siemens License Management Server
(LMS) system – either directly through a Desigo CC computer that has internet access, or through
Tech Support offline. To activate the License offline, proceed to the Offline License Activation
section.
Alternatively, you can use an engineering dongle for install setup and activate the licenses through
Entitlement ID at a later time.
