The Source Items list includes a Panel ID, the Panel Name, and the number of Instances, or
objects, that belong to each panel.
4. (Optional) In the Hierarchies Mapping expander, drag-and-drop an additional hierarchical
structure (physical and/or logical according to the database contents) to the System Browser
position where you want to import. If you perform this additional mapping, the

import section on the right. Do one of the following:
- Select all panels by clicking Select-all .
- Select a single panel by clicking it in the Source Items list and then click Single
Selection .
- Double-click a single panel to add.
- Deselect all panels by clicking Deselect-all .
- Deselect a single panel by clicking it in the Items to import list and then click Single
Deselection .
- Double-click a single panel to remove.
- Filter the contents of either list by typing some search-matching characters in the fields
above the lists (Type to search fields). The filter is removed if you delete the text.
- If you are importing a database that was previously imported, you can choose to delete
part of the existing configuration by selecting the check box called Delete unselected
items from the views and leaving the panels to delete unselected.
The check box is located at the bottom-right of the screen. Enabling it results in the
unselected items being removed from the previously imported configuration.
6. When the Items to import list includes all panels you wish to import, click Import.
The import procedure starts. The progress status is reported on the top-right of the
screen and on the individual lines of the Items to import list in the State column.
The State can be: Completed, Failed, In progress (%), Partially completed (no. of failed
instances).
When the import starts, the Cancel button becomes available and allows you to stop the
procedure at any time (click Yes when prompted if you are sure you want to cancel the
current import procedure). In this case, a summary of the partial results is provided.
IMPORTANT: Note that no roll-back function is available, and canceling the import
may result in an inconsistent database status of the system database.
While the import procedure is in progress, you can safely leave the import page by
selecting other objects on the screen and then come back to the import page at any time.
When prompted if you want to leave and cancel the current import procedure, you can:
click Yes to cancel the Import, click No to leave and let the Import continue, or click
Cancel to go back to the Import page.
IMPORTANT: Do not stop the software application while the import is in progress.
This will automatically cancel the procedure.
At the end of the import procedure, a message displays summarizing the results and
provides access to a detail log (Open Log button).
7. After the Database Import, switch to Operating mode and return the user access control to
its starting point.
