Import Procedure
A specialized import procedure is able to read and identify the XNET and all the control unit
points that correspond with the pre-defined object data types. For each of the objects found in the
configuration database file, a new data point is automatically created in the system configuration
as an instance of the corresponding data type.
WARNING
If the panel configuration is modified, you need to re-import the configuration file to re-align
the management system. Failing to import the latest configuration file may result in a wrong
interpretation of field messages. An Unidentified Event is generated in all cases when a
message is received with no corresponding data point.
XNET Network Node
In the Management View, perform the Database Import in the XNET Network node of the
Field Networks folder.
