XNET Driver Configuration Page
Configuration Tips
When you enter and save the driver configuration parameters (at least the Network Settings are
required), two pre-defined nodes are automatically inserted under the driver to act as reference
objects for handling special events, namely:
–Internal events related to the driver (XNET [system name] Node)
–Events that cannot be associated to any object due to a missing or inconsistent configuration
(XNET Unidentified Node)
You can customize the default description of a node by selecting it in System Browser and
modifying the Description text in the Object Configurator tab.
Notes:
1. The NCC2F Card Driver is installed for serial port information to be displayed.
2. The serial port may be related to an emulated port supporting a connection to the XNET via a
read-only solution (for read-only solution, refer to the Help Utility for additional information).
–Network type: Select XNET in the drop-down list.
