Description
Automatically integrate newly
assigned devices
If selected, data points are automatically integrated to the
Operation application as soon as the automation station is
assigned to the Desigo Control Point device.
If cleared, you must manually integrate data points for newly-
assigned devices.
Automatically update assigned
devices
If selected, data points from an assigned device are automatically
integrated if there is a change in the device type or the BACnet
database revision number. When data points are automatically
integrated:
The system uses the original Integration level as well as any
advanced selections that were originally made for including or
excluding objects.
Any new data points that meet the selected Integration level
are integrated.
Any objects that are no longer in the updated object list are
removed.
If cleared, you must manually reintegrate the device through the
Data point integration feature.
Default integration level
This selection only applies to products engineered with ABT-Site (such
as Desigo DXRs). For all other BACnet devices, all data points will be
selected, but can be individually deselected at the time of device
learning.
For BACnet devices engineered by ABT-Site, this selection determines
how many BACnet objects are imported into the Desigo Control Point
device when data points are integrated. The model of Desigo Control
Point device determines the total number of BACnet objects that can be
integrated.
The higher the access level selected for the Default integration level,
the greater the number of BACnet objects imported. For example:
Basic operation only imports the BACnet objects that a room user
would need, such as the data points displayed on a room unit.
Standard operation imports the BACnet objects required for daily
business, such as room and plant information on a management
station.
Basic service imports the BACnet objects used for commissioning,
such as I/O extensions.
