Question
I interpret the following information from the sales policy that if a license has passed the ‘Subscription
Expiration Date’ and you make an extension of data points, you must also order a SUR / SUS
subscription otherwise the license will enter ‘Courtesy Mode’, is this correct?
Answer
No! If you have a site that runs in normal Customer Mode, then you can add licenses for additional
options, clients and data points at any time. Activating this additional licenses will not bring the site to the
Courtesy Mode!
It does also not modify the current Subscription Expiration Date!
However, as soon as you install a new Cerberus DMS Software Release or an Ecosystem Extension with
a release date that is after the Subscription Expiration Date of your site, then the site will go to Courtesy
Mode!
