Cerberus DMS is designed to meet your
current and future needs for fire safety
and security. Its flexible, open platform
solidly positions you for the future with-
out locking you into a closed, proprietary
system. As a standards-based platform
that works with many communication
protocols, it is truly open. Cerberus DMS
supports OPC, SNMP, BACnet, Modbus
and Web Services to allow integration
with third-party systems.
Building operations go Web
Using the latest technology and standard
databases, Cerberus DMS is designed to
work with your IT infrastructure. Its cli-
ent server architecture supports desktop,
Windows app and Web clients with the
same user interface and functionality,
including engineering capabilities. In
addition, the Cerberus DMS mobile app
for smartphones and tablets enables
access anywhere and anytime to monitor
and command events and objects pres-
ent in the system.
Scalable and flexible through modularity
Cerberus DMS addresses your immediate
system requirements and accommodates
future expansions. It covers all needs from
single to multiple clients and supports a
wide range of deployments ‒ from small,
with server and client running on one
machine, to large, with servers and clients
on separate machines. In addition to fire
detection, more systems can be inte-
grated in your building using extension
modules, such as access control, intru-
sion detection and video surveillance ‒
even third-party systems.
And what’s more, with the flexibility to
accommodate a variety of privilege levels
and user work styles, Cerberus DMS frees
up valuable resources. Based on a user’s
profile, it can provide a very basic view
or more expanded capabilities. For exam-
ple, receptionists are provided with a sim-
ple overview that requires little training
and supports them to react quickly and
confidently in the event of an alarm.
