User Manual
Next-generation danger management
Cerberus DMS combines intelligent control
with ease of use. It can integrate video
cameras with the most advanced systems
for fire protection, providing real-time
views of critical events at the user interface.
Cerberus DMS supports key fire safety sys-
tems from Siemens, including Cerberus
PRO, FireFinder® XLS and MXL® and video
surveillance and even remote notification
to dispatch messages.
Whatever your needs are, Cerberus DMS
can support them. For easy integration,
Cerberus DMS also supports industry
standard protocols such as BACnet, OPC
server and client and SNMP. This gives
you the freedom of choice to develop the
best solution.
A truly flexible and customizable solution
With the flexibility to accommodate a
variety of privilege levels and user work
styles in a single computer, Cerberus DMS
frees up valuable resources. Based on a
user’s profile, it can provide a very basic
view or more expanded capabilities for
analysis, investigation and reporting.
Cerberus DMS also helps to ensure the
continuity of your business operations.
It can be configured to send text messages,
e-mails, or pages when critical events
occur, providing stakeholders with the
information that they need to initiate a
fast response. Cerberus DMS also sup-
ports remote access via Web interface.
From a remote PC you can have the same
view of the user interface as the person
operating the system.
Cerberus DMS is backed by Siemens –
a global powerhouse – so you can be
confident in your investment. A local
Siemens partner is readily available to offer
support when you need it.
