12.3.2 Control via SIMATRIX NEO and dome converter CAC0103
The Siemens Solaris™ Dome can be controlled via the SIMATRIX video matrices.
SIMATRIX NEO provides direct physical connection via telemetry port 1. For
connection with SIMATRIX SYS / 648 / 164 an additional dome converter
CAC0103, Release V1.7 (Aug. 06) is required to interface the RS485 port of the
dome to the TTY port of the video matrix and to perform the necessary code
translation.
NOTE
We recommend following interfacing:
z RS485 connection, 9600 baud, even parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit,
z camera addressing is 0-254.
Tested using Siemens keyboard CKA4820 and SIMATRIX NEO , CAC0103
