14. The keypad shall include a backlit LCD display. The display shall be in complete
English words for programming and fault diagnostics.
15. The keypad shall utilize wizards to help navigate your HVAC application. These
wizards will walk you through the steps required for PID set-up, Start-up and
Multi-pump applications.
16. The VFD shall include a fireman’s override input.
17. All VFDs shall include EMI/RFI filters. The filters shall allow the VFD assembly to
be CE marked and meet product standard EN 61800-3 for the First Environment
restricted level (Category C2).
18. The VFD shall have an optional integrated disconnect switch which will not add
any additional enclosures to the drive and be the same footprint as a drive
without an integral disconnect switch.
19. The VFD shall have the following protection circuits. The drive shall announce in
full text the fault condition on the keypad display and shall display a HELP
function which explains the possible cause of the fault and the possible remedy.
The following protection circuits are:
a. Over current
b. Overvoltage
c. Undervoltage
d. Unit over-temperature protection
e. Ground fault protection
f. Mains supervision
g. Motor phase supervision
h. Motor stall protection
i. Motor overload protection
j. Motor underload protection
k. Short-circuit protection of +24V
E. Speed Command Input shall be via any of the following:
1. Keypad
2. Two Analog inputs, each capable of accepting a 0-20mA, 4-20mA, 0-10V, 2-10V
signal, and direct NI 1000 temperature sensor input.
